Dr Gan graduated with Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Melbourne and subsequently obtained her Post-Graduate qualifications in Family Medicine in Singapore and Post-Graduate qualification in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary University of London.
Dr Gan worked in metropolitan hospitals in Melbourne, before returning back to Singapore, where she spent time in the public sector, including NUH, TTSH, KTPH, National Skin Centre, Ren Ci Community Hospital, and National Healthcare Group Polyclinics during her years of clinical experience in the public sector, before moving on to work in the private medical sector.
In her day-to-day work, she chooses to focus her practice on Family Medicine/General Practice as she enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions competently, catering to all ages from newborn babies to elderly patients, as well as Preventive Healthcare via Vaccinations services and Health Screenings. As a nurturing mother to her young child, she looks forward to helping to keep other young children healthy via her daily work in administering baby vaccinations and doing child development checks, which are fully-subsidized by the government.
Always broadening her horizons, Dr Gan believes in continuous learning and constantly seeks professional development. She also pursues a wide range of interests. With her global experience, she finds joy in helping others achieve an all-rounded development, and treats her patients holistically. Her empathetic nature has endeared her to her patients in W Medical.
